Bernoulli Type Self-cleaning Filter based on Bernoulli’s principle

Description

Bernoulli Type Self-cleaning Filter is an automatic continuous filter based on Bernoulli’s principle for non-contact online cleaning.

Liquid flows from the inner side to outer side of the filter basket, solid contaminants are captured on the inner surface of the screen. The cleaning cycle can be activated by differential pressure or preset timer. A pneumatic cylinder drives the specially profiled cleaning disc to enter the filter basket. When liquid passes through the narrow gap between cleaning disc and screen, the flow velocity rises sharply and local low pressure zone is formed. This vacuum suction peels off debris attached to the screen surface, and the waste is discharged via drain valve.

The main pipeline keeps running during flushing, no process shutdown required. There are only two moving parts in the whole unit, which greatly reduces mechanical wear and maintenance workload.
