1. Definition

Precision filter housing is a sealed pressure vessel specially used to install high-precision filter cartridges. It forms a complete filtration system together with filter elements to intercept tiny solid impurities, colloids, oil droplets and suspended matter in liquid or gas. Widely applied in wastewater treatment, industrial water, oil purification, chemical fluid and air filtration industries.

2. Working Principle

Fluid enters the housing from the inlet and flows through the inside/outside of the precision filter cartridge under pressure. Impurities are trapped on the surface and inside of filter media, while clean medium flows out from the outlet. A differential pressure gauge monitors the clogging degree of cartridges; when pressure difference rises to the set value, users replace or clean filter elements.

1. 304 / 316L Stainless SteelMost common type, anti-corrosion, acid and alkali resistant, suitable for wine wastewater, coastal salt-containing air, chemical liquids and oil media. Polished inner surface avoids impurity adhesion.

2. Carbon steel with liningCost-effective choice for weak corrosive medium; inner wall lined with rubber or glass flake coating to prevent rust. Not recommended for long-term acidic wastewater or salt mist environment.

3. FRP FiberglassLight weight, excellent anti-corrosion performance, mainly used in low-pressure liquid filtration scenarios.
