Basket Filter 

Basket filter, also known as basket strainer, is a kind of coarse filtration equipment widely used in fluid pipelines. It consists of a filter housing and a removable stainless steel filter basket as the core filter element.

When liquid or gas flows through the equipment, solid impurities such as metal scraps, rust particles and large debris will be trapped inside the basket. Users can open the cover and take out the basket directly for cleaning and reuse without frequent replacement of consumables.

It features large filtration area, low pressure drop and large dirt holding capacity. Quick-opening structure options greatly simplify daily maintenance. Common materials are 304 / 316 stainless steel, with filter precision ranging from micron grades to several millimeters.

It is widely matched with air compressors, hydraulic systems, lubricating oil circuits, fuel pipelines and industrial water systems to protect pumps, valves and precision filters from damage caused by large particles. Two main types are simplex basket filter (single tank) and duplex basket filter (dual tanks for non-stop operation).
