The DA1130 is a key component of the lubricated rotary screw air compressor. The oil is injected with the intake air to seal the compressors screws with the chamber, lubricate bearings and remove heat of compression from the machine, after the air and oil mix is compressed by the screw a separator will filter the mix to reinject the oil into the compression chamber and send the air downstream.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air for a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
A high-performance air oil separator element will last longer, better protect your downstream equipment and reduce your overall cost of ownership.
